NORTH INDIA NEPAL TOUR
Day 1 DELHI
Arrival at Delhi. Welcome at the airport and transfer
to hotel. In the afternoon tour of Old Delhi visiting Red Fort,
Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat,the memorial of Gandhi. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 2 DELHI
Morning tour New Delhi Visiting Humayun's Tomb,Jantar Mantar,Qutub
Minar,India Gate and President House and Connaught Place. Afternoon
free for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 DELHI-KATHMANDU
Morning transfer to airport to catch flight for Kathmandu. Arrival
at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.In the afternoon city tour of
Kathmandu visiting Darbar Square,Palace and also visit an ancient
Buddhist monastery known as Swayambhunath. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 4 KATHMANDU
Morning visit to Bhadgaon, a medieval city, Boudnath and Pashupatinath
Temple. In the Afternoon visit at Patan City and Tibetan Handicraft
Centre. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 KATHMANDU-VARANASI
Transfer to airport to catch flight for Varanasi. Arrival at Varanasi
and transfer to hotel.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 VARANASI
Early morning boat tour on River Ganges to visit Bathing Ghats.
City tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata and varoius other temples.Afternoon
visit to Sarnath. Overnight stay.
Day 7 VARANASI - KHAJURAHO
Morning free. Afternoon transfer to airport to catch flight for
Khajuraho. Arrival at khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 8 KHAJURAHO-AGRA
In the morning visit to temples built between 9th and 10th century
by Chandela Rulers.Transfer to airport to catch flight for Agra.
Arrival at Agra and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 AGRA
In the morning visit world famous Taj Mahal, The Fort and Sikandra
Tomb. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 AGRA -J AIPUR
Morning leave for Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri and then
proceed to Jaipur. Afternoon check in at the hotel. Jaipur city
was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1727. It is a magnificient
planned city built of rose-pink coloured stones. Overnight stay.
Day 11 JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber fort. Ascend by painted elephant upto
fort with its huge gateways and pillared pavillions. Afternoon city
tour of Jaipur. Visit City Palace and Museum. Nearby is the ornate
Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) which is five stories. Also visit Jantar
Mantar,observatory which is still equipped with immense brick and
mortal instrument including a very accurate 90 feet sundial. Overnight
stay.
Day 12 JAIPUR
-J ODHPUR
Morning departure for Jodhpur which is located on a low sand stone
hill in heart of desert. After arrival check in at hotel. Overnight
stay.
Day 13 JODHPUR
Morning visit Meharangarh Fort built in 1457 A.D. and which can
be said to be the toughest fort to conquer in whole Rajasthan. Afternoon
visit Mandore Gardens which is 9 kms away. Overnight stay.
Day 14 JODHPUR - UDAIPUR
Morning departure for Udaipur. Stop enroute and visit Ranakpur.
Here are 15th century Jain Temples known for outstanding sculptures.
Then proceed to Udaipur which is also called city of lakes. On arrival
check in at at the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 15 UDAIPUR
Morning city tour of Udaipur visiting City place Museum which is
of Granite and Marble. Also visit Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Badi
and Bazars. Afternoon excursion to Eklingi and Nagada. Overnight
stay.
Day 16 UDAIIPUR
- BOMBAY
Morning transfer to Airport to catch flight for Bombay. Arrival
at Bombay and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 17 BOMBAY
Morning city tour of Bombay and afternoon transfer to Airport to
catch flight for onward destination.
