DOMESTIC AIR TRAVEL
There are three major domestic airlines which fly across the
country. The Government owned Indian Airlines has most extensive
network in the country. But, now even Jet Airways with its expanded
fleet has started covering all corners of India. Besides these two,
Sahara Airlines also operates on major trunk routes. Air India,
the Country's International Carrier also operates domestic flights
principally between metro cities.
INDIAN AIRLINES
Commanding a large and modern jet fleet, the Indian Airlines
(IC) network spans the country's 3000 km from Leh in the North to
the Thiruvananthapuram in the south and about the same from the
east to the west, covering all the important places of tourist interest.
IA links 61 cities in India and 19 in the neighbouring countries
including Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan,
Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman and Malaysia.
JET AIRWAYS
India's largest private airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737-300/400/500
jets to 44 domestic destinations. The airline has Interline agreements
with over 117 International airline and facilities include 24-hour
flight information and reservation, computerized check-in, free
coach service at both the Mumbai Airports, a choice of meals including
veg/non-veg, diabectic, low cholesterol, Jain meals, etc. On the
of Club Premier lounges, meals options, priority baggage service
and seat preference at the time of reservations. As a Jet privilege
member, you are entitled to priority baggage clearance and exchange
of Privilege miles for free flight anywhere on the British Airways
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines network.
AIR SAHARA
The airline has a fleet of seven Boeing and four helicopeters(Dauphins
and Equirriels). With Interline agreements with various national
and international airline, value added services on Sahara include
an inflight library, valet service, tele check-in for both 'Y' and
'J' class, personalized reading kit and meal prefrence (Jain meal
and diabetic meals are standard fare and customized meals for Sahara
Royale passanger include Thai, Italian, Continental and Indian,
as well as health meals). The Sahara Club Crown is a two-dimentional
frequent flier programme offering option for redeeming points against
privileges and gifts from well known international brands. The three-level
membership is available as Sahara Silver, subject to upgradation
depending upon the accumulation of points.
GUJARAT AIRWAYS and JAGSON AIRLINES are two other smaller
private airlines, which operate on short feeder route.

RESERVATION
Reservation can be made online with Amadeus, Gallileo etc. You
can also send us your particulars in order to make reservation for
you. You need to give us complete name, sex, nationality, passport,
details viz. Date of Birth, Passport No., Date of Issue, Place of
Issue and its validity. We can hold your reservation until 5 days
before your first journey on Indian Airlines except few sectors
which are decided from time to time and where different rules apply
and one need to issue tickets much earlier in case to hold the reservation.

DISCOVER INDIA FARES
Indian Airlines allows unlimited travel for 15 days with certain
routing restrictions on domestic sectors at a special fare of USD-650
+ USD-10 (per sector) per person. It also has a special regional
pass fare of USD-300 + USD-10 (per sector) per person for 7 days
unlimited travel within that region with certain routing restriction.
FARES INR AND USD
Indian Airlines has two tier Fare structure. Indian rupee fare
is applicable to Indian Nationals or foreign National who have valid
resident permit in India. Foreigners have to pay US Dollars fare
in equavalent Indian Rupees.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Tickets can be cancelled at Indian Airlines offices or with
its approved agents. Tickets issued in Indian Rupees if cancelled
1 hour before flight carry cancellation charge if Rs. 100/- only
and waitlisted tickets can be cancelled without any charges for
domestic sectors. Tickets issued under USD Fares do not levy any
cancellation charges for domestic sectors in normal circumstances
but Indian Airlines may impose certain restrictions on certain sectors
from time to time.
GROUP BOOKING
Group Booking can be made with Indian Airlines or with us for
minimum 10 persons. These bookings must be reconfirmed at least
60 days before flight. All names have to be given at least 21 days
and tickets have been issued subject to approval by Indian Airlines.
